This is amazing I have posted, as have so many in the last few months about what an important role BGO plays in children’s lives overseas this just shows that it’s been a huge part for nearly 100 years so sad in a few days @Girlguiding close BGO for good #sailingwithbgo
'We decided to make a quilt. It's now in the Imperial War Museum.' Olga Henderson was 13 in 1945 & survived starvation in a POW camp in Singapore. She tells us how she made a quilt for her #GirlGuiding leader whilst being held as an internee. It now hangs in the @I_W_M 🎧⬇️

So living overseas knowing our local cultures and risks and laws we can no longer “safely” run a Girlguiding unit and yet Guiders from the UK who know nothing of our countries are encouraged to take girls overseas for the experience it provides? #contadiction

@GirlguidingCEO Can you see that @Girlguiding is full of passionate intelligent members who don’t agree with the trustees decisions. Maybe listen to members ideas and work with them to avoid closing the TACs. They may have a solution you haven’t thought of #sailingwithBGO
