It seems so obvious, but i dont think everyone realizes that is why we see him as more polite and hardworking now. he didn't just grow up a little he had to adapt(lol) to his situation and become stronger to figure out Tsumiki’s curse. He was not a nice kid or good to her before

thinking about Megumi being a little shit in middleschool and fixing his act as soon as Tsumiki falls asleep that's why he 180°s. breaks my heart a little/a lot. He was ready to give up on jujutsu sorcery before that too..

I hate that she's painted as a nonchalant character when she genuinely cares so much She left the room when Suguru's execution was being discussed, reassured Yuji so he wouldn't blame himself, stressed over Satoru, handled Tsumiki with so much care..
Ppl that hate Shoko/ mischaracterize her as cold hearted are the weakest links
