One week from Pectra upgrade and great to see EIP7251 finally coming to live (, feels like it's not getting as much love as other EIPs. Big improvement to the consensus layer efficiency and performance due to less signature aggregations and p2p messages.

Do we as an industry really need to create narratives that artificially drive usages and call that adoption?.

Mav fans cheering for Luka while him dropping 45 points on them has to be one of the most beautiful sport moments.

- Paradigm did a really great job on building interesting EIP7702 demos and explaining how they work. No one even come close in second.

- L2 fragmentation is real. People always talk about fragmentation in terms of asset bridging but network upgrades are another often overlooked area. Various EVM L2s that have different upgrade timelines make cross chain infra integration difficult.

- Block times (or preconfirmation times) do matter for end users. Was trying out some passkey integration, but due to long block times it doesn’t feel much of a UX improvement.

- But that could also make it more complicated for infra providers. ERC4337 has various standardized validation interfaces to minimize gas griefing attacks, while in EIP7702 I think accurate transaction simulation by bundler would be harder.

Was playing around with EIP7702 on Sepolia this weekend and here’s some thoughts 🧵:. - It feels like an improvement to ERC4337 - less contracts and interfaces that needs to be conformed, so easier and more flexibility for application builders.
