Just worked WH5GVF in Hawaii on RS-44 for his first contact on sat with the mainland. He is using a 9700 and M2 antennas (not the Leopack)_. He had a great signal. It is great to hear a resident op in HI on sats.

Very excited to work 4Z1JJ on Greencube last night for new Sat DXCC. It was Richard's first USA Sat contact as well. 4 active sat ops in Israel, just one on IO-117. GL

HO-113 is not having AGC issues as of late and the transponder seems good throughout the passes over NA. You might want to give it a try. It has a nice footprint.

Thanks to Franck F4CIB @f4cib for the mountaintop QSO from JN02 and a new grid. Lots of EU on the RS-44 1820z pass.

Nice to work VE3RMC and VE3HOA on AO-7B on a NA/EU pass this afternoon. VE3RMC reminded me that today is AO-7's 48th Birthday. It is an amazing satellite and the recognition goes to those who built it.

AO-7 in Mode A but 10M propagation not favorable. QSB and weak signals. QSO with F4DXV. Heard OY1R on SSB and CW but no QSO.

Big thanks to Carlos CA1CUO @ca1cuo for the QSO on RS-44 yesterday afternoon, DXCC LEO Sat Nr 110 (111 with deleted). Excellent signal and first station ever heard from Chile on the satellites.

Another nice afternoon RS-44 NA/EU pass. Thanks F8CED M0SAT DJ7ZZ N1QDQ PD4HDB and IU2DMI for QSO's. Heard EA1IQ CW/SSB and CT1ETE on CW. Pass getting earlier so more EU to work.

More AO-7B: 2050z pass Slow CW Telem numbers run together, noise freqs normal. Previous pass had slow CW with proper spacing, noise areas had some oscillation to them. things change from orbit to orbit.

AO-7 Oberservation Report: 1710z NA/EU Pass. Oscillations at the usual freqs modulated by CW Telem with slower speed but still having numbers run together. Could not hear my uplink hardly. Still Mode B. Not switching.

AO-7B Observation: 1810z NA/EU pass plagued with strong oscillations in the usual places. Seem to be modulated by the CW Telem which was strong but numbers still run together. Thanks VE3CGA for QSO. Signals choppy and weak.

AO-7 Observations: NA/EU afteernoon passes had rapid QSB on signals. Sat sending CW telemetry on both passes but numbers were run together, no spacing. Never heard this happen before.

AO-7 still in Mode B at 1735z. Nice to hear and work 9A1CAL. Also heard an IK2 on CW. Sat sounding normal again; oscillations are gone for now. Time of switching modes unknown.

AO-7 Mode B Observation on NA/EU passes this afternoon: Oscillations at 939.5 & 956 are sounding quite pronounced and very loud. They are apparently using up most of the downlinnk power so upliink signals are weak. Another phase that AO-7 goes through. It will soon change.

AO27 1325z pass with WL7T/VE1 in FN97 had to be one of the most orderly and courteous passes in recent memory. Lots of stations worked and no QRM in a short 3-1/2 minutes. Nice job Tyler.

AO-7 Dits Update 2230z pass: screen shot of when I started hearing the dits. The station is somewhere close to the Canadian border or more likely in Canada, central NA. Station has a good horizon. Still there at my LOS
