Park the loans with no payment required from the borrower at zero interest. At the end of every year of service, pay off 10% of the outstanding balance. Define public service broadly to recruit federal, state, and local employees. Police, firefighters, teachers, military.

I am so confused why we have public service employees with student loans when we’re forgiving student loans for people. Can’t we at a minimum put all federal student loans for public service employees into a zero interest state while they’re working in public service positions?

40 yrs ago was also the 1st flight of STS-1. Gagarin remarked "looking at the earth from afar you realize it's too small for conflict and just big enough for cooperation." Words hold true today. Honored to support an intl crew on the @Space_Station as CapCom on this historic day.
