Lot of false information being spread here so just want to clarify a few things. 1. You can most definitely release your music under your own record label and you can even change which label and the name of it for every unique release. Yes you do need to at least have a Musician.
Reasons why I hate distrokid:. 1. They donโt allow you release music under your own record label name unless you have a label profile which will still limit to how many artists you can have on your โlabelโ so instead theyโll give you that ugly ass 837363DK label which looks weird.
