Would love to know what happened to that whole "only the captain can talk to the ref" change introduced this @aleaguemen season. Haven't seen any adjustment in players' behaviour, and it doesn't seem to be being enforced by the refs either. #SYDvMAC #ALeague

Respect (or lack thereof) for refs is one of my real bugbears in football, so I'm all for how Alex King handled that — both the sending off of Valkanis, and getting both captains together to lay down the law. #CCMvBRI
