TL;DR 5 principles to 10x your communication: • Use frameworks for clarity • Ask "So What?" to drive decisions • Avoid redundancy and ensure completeness • Relate insights directly to customer problems • Lead with recommendations, then present arguments

The Relevancy Principle Always tie insights to a customer problem. ❌ “Inflation is 9% this month.” ✅ “Inflation is 9%, raising product prices and making your project [AB] unprofitable.” This transforms your point from a list of facts into valuable customer insights.

The MECE Principle Avoid repetition and don't leave key points out. ❌ “We want to reduce costs and increase profit” (reducing costs = increasing profit) ✅ “To boost sales, we can raise prices or increase quantity.” This will make your arguments factually strong and clear.

The Pyramid Principle McKinsey uses this method for all executive recommendations. 1️⃣ Start with your recommendation 2️⃣ Present key arguments that led to it 3️⃣ Provide evidence supporting the arguments (Most people do this in reverse)

The "So What" Principle Ask yourself "So What?" 3 times before major decisions. 1️⃣ Our margins fell below 60%. So what? 2️⃣ Now we don't qualify for low-interest loans. SW? 3️⃣ Project isn't cost-effective. SW? ▶️ Cancel the project. This will 10x your decision-making power!

The Framework Principle Summarize points into frameworks. ❌ “This is a great solution because of x and it will do y and z…” ✅ “Here are 3 key benefits of this solution: x, y, z” It takes time to learn, but the impact is worth it.
