Ethereum’s north star isn’t just scalability or performance. It’s usability. It’s building for a generation that won’t even think about chains, wallets, or bridges. They’ll just use it. That’s the future I want to help shape.

Cards will be gone. Biometric payments will feel like magic. He’ll never worry about forgetting a wallet or paying a gas fee. (Yes, “gas fees” were a thing. Weird, right?). We swiped plastic rectangles with chips on them.

His medical records? Stored onchain. Accessible instantly and only to those with his consent. No more calling clinics, losing papers, or second-guessing prescriptions. My doctor had a folder. My pharmacist hoped the prescription wasn’t fake.

His decentralized ID should be his passport to the world. Driver’s license, car title, home ownership, even his house keys, all tied to a single ID that only reveals what it needs to. I carried a plastic card for each. And still lost them all the time.

I want him to vote online—privately, securely, confidently. No more showing up at a voting booth. No more disclosing more than necessary. Just proof that he can vote, not who he voted for. We used to do it with paper and lines.

I want my son to grow up using Ethereum not just as a financial system; but as his main operational system. One where the line between traditional and decentralized blurs. Banks, Google, Ethereum; all part of a seamless experience. I used to manage it all separately.

Sometimes the best way to build is to think about the future we want, not just the problems of the present. So lately I’ve been thinking about how I want Ethereum to evolve… not for me, but for my son. A small thread on what that world could look like on Father's Day. 🧵
