I knew what we were doing was special, but not how special. Cell phones sucked to use, we made one built for the consumer instead of for the carrier. What a difference a simple perspective shift can make.

15 years ago, I was in the fourth row of Moscone, giddy and nervous. Steve had a monster of a demo to give. Running with real bits, 6 months before public release. It was a script we had all been running through individually for weeks. I’ll never forget it.
