Mrs. Nichols’ 5th graders applied their knowledge of set models to find 1/2, 1/4, 1/6, or 1/8 of their collections. They also participated in a gallery walk to critique the reasoning of others. @WatwoodElem @AMSTI_UM @AMSTI4all @OMIALSDE @Alison_Nichols7

These 3rd graders are building their multiplicative understanding through choral counting & counting collections. During the collections debrief on Friday we identified properties that were used as they counted their collections multiplicatively. @clayton3rd @AMSTI_UM @AMSTI4all
