RBIs 2L Cr OMO & $10B currency swap just days after 1L Cr OMO & $5B currency swap totally infusing~4.5L cr liquidity into economy, while this is an phenomenal move with abating inflation. Wht worries is, is the economy so bad/gonna get bad that they are infusing so much liquidity

Conversely, many in my social circle who have spent 15 to 25 years in the corporate world are aspiring to own a piece of land and pursue farming. Isn't it highlighting a fascinating cyclical pattern in what people value and seek in their careers & lives 2/2

Insights from campus placement drive over years, 70% of students I encountered came from farming backgrounds with land ownership of 1 to 12 acres & were desperate to transition into the corporate world quoting farming difficulties & thier parents are advicing them to move out 1/2

The only disease that science cannot cure is loneliness and it's becoming increasingly widespread. The degree of ones thought "why and to whom should I be answerable" is directly proportional to the quantum of one becoming lonely.

It seems that promoting one's children to lead the business as single leadership might be a more effective strategy for ensuring its longevity. What good is professionalism if the company itself doesn't survive? If this is the case, is Tata just thinking of governance across.

I've always been critical of nepotism be it the cinema or business or politics worlds, believing it can compromise professionalism. However, the recent turmoil within the Tata Trust board has led me to reconsider my belief/stance.

Impact for Govt because of GST 2.0 is Rs. 48000 Cr, and this will make India miss its fiscal deficit of 4.4% of GDP. While this will benefit the Indian economy with more consumption to wade off trump tariff tantrums, this will impact India fiscal prudence for next 2 years atleast

Two career transitions that impressed me in recent days, @RishiSunak moving to Goldman Sachs from being a prime minister of UK. @GitaGopinath moving from being IMF chief to teaching at Harvard. Passion over fame and power! #careerswitch

Humans are created to be together & social with empathy, but we together are making the world dilapidated. #MeghalayaHoneymoonCase is just the beginning of the outcome from the world that we are curating of being self obsessed. Love is ceasing to exist in this world. Period. 2/2

Are we in an epidemic called loneliness? Aspiring for larger homes, bigger cars & higher paychecks only to realize no people to share or enjoy with. Dining table conversations are becoming more transactional, lacking empathy. Bed Room conversations becoming reels but not real 1/2

Seeing "back to school/first day at school" posts by parents, schools are onboarding children with band baaja baarat like corporates want to onboard its new employee after anxious wait of 3 months but what corporates do is welcome new ones with pen/bag/dairy as school kid deems!

30 mins of waiting in Airport fr boarding flights is best place after conference(business)/living(personal) rooms where most relationships r patched, Having to do nothing, people reflect deeply & converse to resolve, may be. I don't overhear, people speak that loud! #etiquettes

World wastes 1.05 bn tonnes of food annually (full supply chain), this is 20% of available food this is when 800 mn are hungry. India wastes 55kG annually, accounting for 12% of municipal waste. Globally, food loss/waste generates 10% GHG emissions. I call this as an opportunity!

Structure of an organization is defined by the complexity in which it runs, low complexity is high structure. High degree of structure in an organization drives efficiency & profitability of the organization.

China for long is restructuring its economy for domestic consumption more than exports but has failed. Its imperative that we balance exports/domestic in manufacturing to avert exports orientation. Like PLI/Make in India enabling supply, we need needles to poke demand as well 2/2

Share of manufactured goods in private final consumption has fallen frm 57% in 2014 to 49% in 2024 despite Make In India branding & PLI schemes to push supply. This means domestic consumption is down. China was busy manufacturing for the world, forgetting domestic consumption 1/2

Army/Himachal is leading with 18 medals, MH, ITBP, Ladhakh, KA, TN with 13, 10, 7, 6, 5 respective medals. Yet our country celebrates only one game, where most players are selected by influence more than talent in them & most games are scammed. Grow up my country!
