Tomorrow will be my last day on the AWS CLI/Python SDK team. I've enjoyed working on these products over the past 7+ years, and I'm excited for what's next. I will now be focusing on AWS Chalice and other high level frameworks. Bye Seattle!

Ah, editor using an older version of pyright! Both are type errors in latest version.

Making sure I've got this right, f['bar'] isn't a type check error...as long as you acknowledge the KeyError??

Recently updated fzf and had to rework my config to get it working with the AWS CLI again. Such a time server for me. Wrote up my notes for how you can set this up.

Missing typescript's "keyof T" in Python, I still don't see a great alternative for this type of pattern.

After a (not so brief) hiatus on other projects, I’m back focusing on SDKs/devtools. Excited to dive back into this space!

Came across ast-grep today, interesting project and could replace some old/slow code in a few of my projects

lol most of my feed is react drama, and whatever rsc and meta framework means. I’m guessing I’ll have to relearn react (again)

Whoa I have access to github copilot (the OG one). Guess I'll be trying it out tonight. GPT4 has been pretty decent at generating code, but given the heavy throttling, I've only been using it for detailed, lengthy code snippets.

I wonder how generally applicable the bug detailed in the recent ChatGPT outage is to async libraries in Python ( https://t.co/88ZiWEt7oX).

While this was deploying only one out of every four pushes was failing for me with the known host error, thought I was going crazy...

I love this. I've had to maintain my own color scheme for years because many schemes weren't usable for me. Really appreciate themes that have these settings.
