Caught a few fish but all were good quality. 2.15 was the biggest today and the Raccoon Perch was 1.61 on the Bubba Scale.

Wasn’t quite a limit, but in that wind it was the best I could do…. Fish are in the maternity ward waiting on the delivery date….

Back at it today. In that brackish water you never know what you might catch. Caught 4 speckled trout and one of them was pushing 4 lbs or so.

I did see a lot of dead speckled trout floating… shame the cold weather killed so many of them.

4 hours this morning I. Washington NC. Water temp was 51* and these fish were caught in 4’ of water.

caught a few crappie yesterday and this catfish today. Goes to show you when it’s your lucky day… he broke off the jig he bit and swam into the jig next to it. Fought it for 15 minutes… 12’ crappie rod and 6lb test… 29.12 lbs you can see the jig in his tail.
