I actually agree with this. When I made this post I was referring more to LINKS and CASUAL SEX. If i have an intimate, personal connection with someone, I’m turned on simply by that individual alone— whether i gotta tussle in or not. Wanting YOU is different from wanting to fuck.

why don’t ppl talk about actually feeling things anymore? sometimes i think our culture is just super quick to focus on “getting back, dusting yourself off quick, not being knocked off your feet, quickly detaching.” … and then we wonder why our emotional capacity be so low.
i detach very fast. Anything i love extremely deeply I'm prepared to lose. It can break my heart but I have learned how to keep going. It can seem cold, but if it takes me off my pivot..l'll cut my finger off to save my hand. I can’t lose myself again, for anything. I'Il heal.
