Joined TiKTok 2 weeks ago. Landed 3 gigs since then. In 4 day, I got 2 one-offs . Few days ago, I got a recurring one, pays my exact rate per hour, no stress 🤭. Please what other app are you guys cashing out from abeg😂. I didn’t expect this from TikTok tbvh 🥹🚀

Here’s the tea: .As analysts, we are translators between business goals and raw data. Don't expect the client to always hand you a perfectly worded problem. Start with curiosity, and a bit of strategic digging. Another thing that helps is if you have worked on similar projects.

This particular job had me frustrated a bit. Fun fact, He sort of knew, I was not clear on his KPIs or what he actually needed. My consolation was when he said “Thanks for helping me understand clearly, I can tell you did more than I helped you with. ”.

So I asked questions like, what’s your current sales process, customer demographics and, product offerings and all I got from them were vague responses . It’s in cases like this, you can just get totally lost in thousands of rows of data before eventually having a case study.

I got a bonus for saying “let me take a look” even tho I was confused. Some clients have certain expectations eg: “I just want more sales”, but can’t as much as define the actual problems their businesses are facing. Then there’s a question of where do I start from? . 🧵🧵.
