This is the reality victims of domestic abuse face as their abusers are released from prison early.   "He got 3 years, I got life", Rose Wright, pictured, told me after her ex partner was free to go home.   More here: https://t.co/6gnHLp2hOQ

Every single court reporter in this country sees with their own eyes every day that 90 per cent of contact sex offences are committed by white men on their wives, girlfriends, children, stepchildren, or other female relatives or friends.

Tomorrow's Nottingham Post splash. Richard Tice saying whatever comes into his head again - not true. I won't stand for this smear against our journalism.

Putting men on a pedestal of heroism is not the solution. Women feel unsafe because of men, regardless of colour or creed, and large groups of them roaming the streets will not make us feel safer.

I prosecute and defend the most serious sexual offences in our courts. The overwhelming majority of offenders are British-born. Overwhelmingly the victim is someone known to them, either a partner or relative. Anybody purporting to care about protecting women might start there.

Penniless and homeless, Raynor and Moth Winn found fame with The Salt Path: the story of their 630-mile walk to salvation. It became a global bestseller and was adapted into a major film. But we can reveal it wasn’t the whole truth. @chloehadj Read: https://t.co/SjsMngcXyM

I’ve thought a lot about whether it’s the right thing to talk about Rachel Reeves crying at PMQs. Because crying is not something we should be ashamed of, or something we should be judged for. Because crying is something associated with women - and in particular this misogynistic

I'm with Tristan on this and feel Simon rarely attends court. The problem is not juries & they certainly aren't "middle class philanthropists". The problem is cuts resulting in courts being closed, not enough judges, prosecution & defence barristers & solicitors, & no court time

Disagree with Simon here Jury trials are essential for maintaining public trust in justice Last line of this piece is telling & alarming Radical reform is more likely because system is broken & we've no money, not necessarily because reform is any good https://t.co/SK7mxju3O6

I get it... Labour have let you down You're desperate for change Do you really think someone who wants to make you pay for healthcare, reduce workers' rights, keep fire & rehire & shills for the rich is going to bring the change you need? Remember what he did to our fishers.
