I will say that winning the grand prize (M2 Pro) the first time I have ever entered certainly won’t hurt the odds of me keeping my streak going. 😅.

I say every year since 2018 that I will come to the #KCDC event whether on my own dime (this year) or speaking (2018, 2019). And I mean it - the KC dev community rocks and this community event is amazing. 🎉.

Deeply consider how the estimates are used… predicting delivery? cost?. Also looking at how debt emerges

Brooks didn’t include tasks beyond the software creation itself - delivering and communicating with customers….

Estimates are internal to the team - not to be used for others. That said…

Low precision high accuracy is better - too often worry defaults to the inverse.

Delivery plans are more concrete than roadmaps - the latter is directional instead.

What question are we trying to answer?. Also, releasing includes… telling the clients you shipped!
