We have electric eels, which technically means we also have magnetic eels, and I’m wondering why no one talks about that.

The ✨Summer of Vibes✨ uses a different strategy to most research programs. We make a lot of mistakes by moving quickly. On purpose. However, we also make a lot of products. Take all the products and correct the errors, what you end up with is a *lot* of stuff that works.

AI tools for medicine are everywhere, but many are so specialized that it’s hard for most people to imagine using them.   We wanted to change that. Our tool is designed to help every medical learner—student or graduate—build essential skills.

What’s a standardized patient?   For non-medical folks: It’s an actor playing the role of a patient. They learn a script and medical history to help students interview, support, and diagnose patients.   It’s an essential part of med school—and great for protecting patients

What’s the product? It’s an AI-powered interview with a standardized patient. If you went to med school, you can skip ahead. For everyone else: A standardized patient is an actor pretending to be a patient. They learn a script, answers, & even use props/costumes.

When we launched Pathway, everyone told us we were crazy. "You will never replace UpToDate," they said.

One of the biggest sources of discontent is a mental motion that many do continually: Planning what decision you will make ahead of when the time comes to make the decision.

Clinicians are choosing @PathwayMedical over giants like UpToDate and Harrison's every day. - UpToDate has 7500 editors and a 30+ year legacy. - Harrison's is the most widely read textbook in medical history. Never underestimate the power of a focused team on a clear mission.

Source control is important saves lives at a rate of 8% per hour* *unless the surgeon is in clinic and says they’re “very busy”

Treat the robots like pets. For now, we can enjoy the benefits and accept the risks. When physicians start going to court for using AI, then we’ll know what’s ahead. Right now there’s no ai-based laws to break. People should be building things and just trying them. LFG.
