Btw I know Marner held all the cards and it sucks to see Toronto lose a top tier talent like him, but in the long run, I hope we get to look back on the "DNA change" summer as a key turning point in this team's success. So far, Tre is doing very well with what he's been given.

RIP to the core four. Going to miss watching Marner. It's been amazing to watch him develop since his days in the O into the elite level player he became. I'm sure he'll do great in Vegas. It's a shame the Leafs couldn't get it done while the core 4 was intact, but Treliving

A day later and I'm still fired up at how great Tavares' contract is. Guy puts up a gem of a year with ~PPG, 38 goals, a top 5 FO winning % in the league, and still takes an insanely team friendly deal even though he could've got around double on the open market. What an

This is incredibly true. Even for people who think they over index on thinking over feeling, I find they are far more guided/clouded/mislead by emotion than they can comprehend or see yet.
Once you accept that many people do not think but simply 'feel', you'll understand the world better.
