I'm so proud of what our team has been able to create, and it has been very cool to see the team grow into an elite, epic force. The result is a brand that unlocks our ability to tell the story of what makes great: Our Product, Our Purpose, & Our People 💜.

Myself, @jessperate, our team and the team at @itsoffbrand had a crisp 2 months to bring everything together. But this time, it wasn't just a reskin – we rebuilt all of from the ground up from scratch using Timothy Ricks' Lumos framework in @webflow

@omgadamho produced the incredible direction you see on today. With its bright colors, textures & our bright new logo, the brand is meant to evoke a nostalgia for the marketing of the past. The kind of work you made with your hands – tactile, raw, creative

And yet, the brand had grown a fair amount of equity. We were the first to use the AI sparkle ✨. The first purple/gradient AI brand. But in a sea of sameness, all purple and all sparkly and with all those gradients, doing more of the same meant failing to stand out

At Jasper our mission is the elevate all marketing & all marketers with the power of AI. Our mission puts human creators at the forefront. The loveable Jasper robot was at odds with this, an unserious representation of the less-than-human aspect of AI. It was also not very unique

Earlier this week, @heyjasperai announced a slew of new features including marketing AI agents, a completely rethought canvas-style UI, and more. Alongside these launches, we also launched something else. Something that we had been working on for over a year: our new brand. 🧵

Tonight I was struggling up against a limitation of one of Finsweets Attributes. After about an hour of tooling I decided to say fuck it. I fired up Claude, gave it a prompt, and within minutes I had a working replacement for that Attribute. What a time to be alive.
