A doctor asked me where the nearest restroom was and after I helped him, he said thank you. I meant to say “you’re welcome” or “no problem” but it came out as “your problem” 🙃

For the first time ever it seems, I did not have fear or shame when trying on clothes in a store fitting room. I have been so much more loving and gracious to myself and my body lately ✨

I went up to the bar at a restaurant by myself, found an empty chair, and asked if anyone was sitting there first. Two guys next to me told me they thought I was super confident and bold to go to a bar by myself. Then I told him the bartender is my brother lol @Jonah_THEO

At least once a month, we practice lockdown drills at school and hope we would never have to do it for real. This happens far too often unfortunately but today, I am so heartbroken.

My middle schooler is now trying to educate me on the Cheetah Girls (cheetah sisters) l o l

It should not be this stressful to take a day off for whatever reason or attend a 2-day *work-related* training. but it is. because our workload is too high.

Every week, my middle schooler and I get into heated discussions about High School Musical (1, 2, 3, and the musical the series) Lowkey love it, lowkey getting too heated about this topic lol

My time was not my own today. What an icky feeling. Will honor my boundaries better next time 💛

Documenting that today was stressful but that the people I work with trulyyy make a difference. S/o to kindness, collaboration, and connection 🤩 (but no s/o to the team member whose procrastination impacted my stress lol)

A teacher reminded me that I was the expert in & representative of my field and that both encouraged me and made me so nervous. Value me but also be patient bc I know a lot but I’m also still learning 🙃 happy Wednesday, friends

I told my 3rd grade students that we were taking it easy today (and not doing super fun activities in the OT room) because I’m having a hard day and they responded so kindly I was so touched and proud TY LIL FRIENDS
