It's actually even worse than it sounds.
DeSantis's BOE now requires that African-American studies include lessons on an obscure alt-right obsession that equates white people to Black slaves.
It also now must whitewash a KKK mass murder in 1920.

We need to get the Commissioner of Education back to an Elected Position in Florida. Since it has become an appointed position it is just a Rubber Stamp for the worst of the Governor's Policies.

Ok. So I read through some of the AA History "benchmarks." Wtf are "clarifications?" This means nothing. It's a benchmark, or it's not. I don't teach the "clarifications." They sound like curriculum.
