This is called the inchworm approach. Slow steps to “equity” is not equity. Another missed opportunity for the @NCAADII to provide an equal championship experience for male and female athletes. Baseball has 8 days, softball must provide a “study” to prove they should too….C’mon!

@NCAASoftball @InsidetheNCAA 8 day is all that was asked for. You allowed D1 softball to go from 7 days to 9 days. As athletes, what makes our bodies any different in terms of competition? It is the same 7 inning game isn’t it? (A thread)

@NCAADII @NCAASoftball so many conversations about mental health and equality being had, but where is the action? Just because we are female athletes and just because we are not Division 1, we somehow are lesser in your eyes? The time for change is way overdue.

Athletes are athletes. It does not matter the level. Mental health, championship opportunities, or athletic ability should not be limited or “studied” upon based on division. Do better @NCAA @NCAADII
