i myself got to know joon from ASC (though i just thought he was just an mc) . he's probably still in touch with some of them, he went to a concert with jimin in 2023 and i think at some point started a book club with yoongi and epik high 😂.

a bit of a fun fact, eric nam is one of earliest characters in bangtan's journey. namjoon was a recurring mc on ASC (a show he hosted). jimin and jungkook mc-ed there too, bangtan guested on it a few times as well.

they didnt have as many brand commitments then and didnt do lives as freely so full silence wont happen. my expectation is a single before the album (like covid era), album drop, tour, jpn album drop before jpn leg and possibly member releases before the middle of 2026.

If they were absolutely grinding it they'd have two full cbs a year which is what they did in 2018 and we all know how stressful that got for them. In terms of content, during the 6 months and tour duration they'd film run and bv and the tour docs obviously.

So the old schedule kinda looked like.- Official cb - 1 album + sk promo + us promo + 6-8month album tour .- Jpn album - jpn promo .- Muster during festa .- 3/4 random releases (singles or osts). solid 6 months of absolute silence between cbs ie studio time.
so. older armys. how is regular comeback? like i've been there since 2020 but the bangtan comebacks 2020-2022 were not the 'regulars' right? somebody said pre covid was the real deal 👀.
