Was great fun to collaborate with @JudeRobinson5, @JacquiPrieto1, @philnorville, @IPS_Infection, and @IPC_Partners for the inaugural IPS Journal Club! Great to discuss a few impactful Journal of Infection Prevention papers. Recording here:
We really enjoyed our first Journal Club in partnership with @IPS_Infection to discuss a couple of interesting articles in the Journal of Infection Prevention. Here’s the recording for those who missed it (or who want to watch it again!)

Enjoyed every minute of Journal Club earlier with @KezHolden and @philnorville. Very interesting discussions about WHY frontline staff behave the way they do, and how to shepherd them towards safe IPC behaviours.
We LOVED today’s Journal Club with @KezHolden, @philnorville and @jonotter in partnership with @IPS_Infection all about how to make IPC real for frontline healthcare workers. Here’s the recording ICYMI

New blog post on quali study looking into IPC behaviours in nursing staff. Found it hard to access - need to improve my quali skills! One lesson: we can’t expect high quality IPC practices if staff don’t have anywhere to put their bag & coat!
Nice blog from @jonotter about a qualitative study about determinants of nursing staff IPC behaviours, in preparation for next Wednesday’s Journal Club in partnership with the IPS for Journal Club here:

Lovely to have a conversation with @philnorville at Journal Club today to discussion one of our favourite microbes: S. aureus (and its role in SSI). Always more to learn! Here’s the recording:

Really enjoyed getting my teeth into this article on S. aureus (NOT S. auris!!) colonisation as a risk factor for SSI. Not novel to know they’re linked, but strong data on role of bacterial load and extra-nasal colonsation in relation to SSI risk
We’re delighted to see that @jonotter has posted a blog in preparation for tomorrow’s Journal Club in partnership with @molnlyckehc on "Risk factors for post-operative Staphylococcus aureus infection":
