Over 8 years ago, my family stumbled into the practice of Sabbath. Little did I know how profoundly this small step would radically change the way I view God and live my life. This is the story of how God reconstructed my faith in Him as King of the Universe. (Tap for link).

I've been working on some very rough drafts of an acoustic/folksy album rooted in the Psalms as well as a Messianic perspective. I published it recently on YouTube and would love for you to have a listen and subscribe if you enjoy it!.

Why are so many Christians ambivalent towards Torah? It’s not because of sound theology. Instead, it’s because they confuse the inauguration of the new covenant with the consummation of the new covenant. This mistake has consequences to where folks miss out on Torah’s benefits.

This is a great point that highlights God's faithfulness to keep his covenants!. Why would God only keep His covenant with Noah and abandon the others?.

How long is the Noahic covenant? . Since God has not wiped out all the earth with a flood, has it been fulfilled? . Can he now flood the whole earth? . This is how many treat the eternal land covenant with Abraham.

If God would break His covenants with His people, how can He be trusted to not disregard the new covenant?. Coming to terms with the reality that God keeps His word for the sake of His Name—who brought salvation and upheld his end of the promise is what upholds my trust in His.

The God of Israel does not break His promises. He does not revoke them, override them, or transfer them to another people. Unlike the false, unreliable god proclaimed by many, the God of Israel is faithful and keeps His covenants. Through the Messiah, He has opened the way for.

The physical land of Israel is inseparable from eternal life. God's promise to Abraham .God's promised land to Moses.God's word to the prophets. The good land in the Torah is geographical, agricultural, and covenantal. Yeshua embodies covenant loyalty;.He secures Israel's.

Can you have faith without action? . I contend that if you have belief, that doesn't translate into doing something with that belief, then you actually don't believe it at all. James follows this line of thought when he highlights Abraham: "Abraham had faith in God, and it was.

Sometimes the enemy shows up quoting scripture. I find it interesting when the adversary was testing. Yeshua and took him to the top of the temple in the holy city, he quoted scripture (Psalm 91) tempting him to take matters into his own hands and use Scripture for personal.

For Adonai will comfort Zion. He will comfort all her waste places. He will make her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of Adonai. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and a sound of melody. —Isaiah 51:3.

Sometimes God allows us to go through difficult seasons. Not because he's cruel or absent, but because he's testing us in order to grow the roots our trust in Him. To teach us that we can only truly experience life from the words that emanate from God's mouth. Will we hear His.

And one of them who was a Torah expert asked a sh'eilah to trap him:. "Rabbi, which of the mitzvot in the Torah is the most important?".He told him, " 'You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.' . This is the greatest.
