Asking for changes to a block is no doubt my favorite Assemblage feature. While the layout system is incredibly simple, blocks are remarkably powerful. You have full access to the React component code for every block… and you can ask for it to become anything you can think of.

memory.exe def my favorite sora account. they retain the original prompt. it always begins with something like… “Real life Authentic raw VHS camcorder footage, recorded directly onto magnetic tape — not playback on a TV. The image has soft blur, muted colors, analog noise,

nigh is the best. romina is the best. the nigh site is also without a doubt the most unhinged cargo site i’ve ever seen. https://t.co/8mEL1nV47q

@matdryhurst @hollyherndon if i were at zora i would immediately implement remixing any image or video w/ sora 2 and optimize for viral moments. infinite horse galloping memes. livestreams are extremely difficult to participate in (showing your face, good audio, good video, etc…)

really opens up participating in a memetic moment, but without using your face, or being in-front of the camera.

neo release has been most compelling use of ai imagery i’ve seen. maybe shaped by core sora interaction. just really rapid remixing. feels less like slop as you’d never take the time to do something this high fidelity, and it’s derivative nature is the entire point.

ui design is increasingly media design. when your browser moves your cursor for you, interface design no longer is something to be tapped or clicked. but what is it then?

@onassemblage assemblage is so basic it’s dumb. no interface. just media. no discovery. just focus. i’m making it for myself after years of complex page layouts, responsive this, scroll jank that. and you can use it too. https://t.co/YYuraejaRF

hot out of the @onassemblage factory. drag media files from the desktop into the canvas → randomize the layout → drag media from the desktop anywhere in the canvas → more random layout. it’s… very simple, very fun.

bought a scanner and each time i wake my machine up the scanner head moves back and forth a bit. it’s a very nice sound, like it’s saying hello.

1) platforms, even the best intentioned, have cluttered interfaces centered around discovery. 2) websites can be kind of archaic and complex things to produce. assemblage scratches that itch between the two. no interface other than your content. entirely drag and drop.
