Awful news, deepest condolences to Davids family. A great servant to the club he was responsible for some great players coming through the youth system. RIP.

Awful, awful news. A lovely, smart, friendly, gentle guy who will have helped hundreds if not thousands of youngsters immeasurably, whether they went on to make it as footballers or not.

My sincerest condolences to Mr Wilkes family. He never failed to say good morning to myself and the hairy beast whenever we saw him at BP. Just a genuinely nice guy.
