Couldn’t agree more. Being referred to as “junior” having been qualified for best part of 13 years is unhelpful. Another reason I lament the loss of titles such as senior SHO and senior registrar as these reflected progression.
The term ‘junior doctors’ does doctors-in-training a disservice. Great news that BMA is dropping the term. I hope others do too.
