I took a call with a 16 year old who wants to pitch in college. Low 80s and weak. No recruiting interest. He asked if he should play basketball this fall or train for baseball. โHow bad do you want to pitch in college?โ. โMore than anything,โ he said. โThereโs your answer.โ.

Want to be more consistent on the mound?. Start by having a plan for how youโll respond to the following in your next outing:. - Errors.- Bad calls.- Weak contact singles.- Chirping in the dugout.- Anything else that gets you emotional. Be proactive, not reactive.
