Today’s “OK for Now” station rotation brought the major plot points to life with immersive learning. VR Apollo 11 Moon Landing, A @magicschoolai chat w/ a 1960s/1970s Vietnam protestor, and a My Lai reading and reflection circle. Glad to have teamed up with Mrs. Brower!

Mrs. Walters & Ms. Dannehl’s HS World History students went on a VR tour of royal palaces during their Absolutism unit! From Windsor Castle to Versailles, students explored how architecture and design reflected the power of their rulers. 🌎 👑

🔬 Mrs. Roe’s biology students dove into the microscopic world of cells today. This was an awesome UDL-inspired activity that let every learner experience biology in unique ways. One station, allowed students to use VR as they explored prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells up close!

🌍 ¡Viva la aventura! 8th grade Spanish students joined Mrs Pieffer and me for an incredible VR journey through Spain! Students explored famous landmarks and admired masterpieces at the Prado Art Museum and Museo Reina Sofía, all from the classroom.

Ms. Brower’s 7th graders are diving into TeachQuest to gamify learning in ELA! Students can complete personalized learning quests and take on epic boss battles during review game raids. Most importantly, they will have to work as a team to level up. Adventure awaits!

🇪🇸 ¡Viva España! Teamed up with Señora Kovac for an 8th grade VR field trip through Madrid and beyond! Students explored palaces, Gaudí’s stunning architecture, famous art galleries featuring Picasso and Dalí, lively plazas, and even the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

🎃 💻 Tech or Treat 2025 was a hit! This year’s PD spotlighted AI tools like Google Gemini, NotebookLM, and @canva, helping teachers explore creative new ways to bring AI into the classroom. We loved the participation across all buildings: 330 submissions in just one week!

Curiosity can drive discovery! After reading The Monster in the Mountain, the story of Marta Ramirez, a volcanologist from their Wonders text, 6th graders at Bonfield experienced a VR field trip that explored active volcanoes in Kamchatka and Iceland.🔥🌎📖

We caught a beautiful day for the 7th grade WMS field trip! Dr. Griffiths and I used some seriously innovative, screen-less technology…better known as... a compass 😎 for our orienteering scavenger hunt station. 🧭 Shoutout to the teachers/students who made the day great!

Our WHS/WMS Future City students used our Meta3 VR sets to explore Lisbon and Barcelona to gather inspiration for their city designs. It was awesome watching them brainstorm and share ideas in real time while virtually walking the streets together. @Meta
