Over 5 yrs sober now. No hangovers, saved loads of money, sleep better, lost weight, healthier, not wasting ££ on taxis, more productive - the list goes on. Benefits of drinking? None. It's a no brainer. Drinking is boring. You'll be proud/grateful if you quit (IHMHO).
As I edge closer to 40 this is exactly how I feel about Alcohol. What makes things worse is also the anxiety that drinking gives me the next day. Has anyone here completely given up drinking as it's definitely something I've considered?
