$26.6M per year for Shaheed wouldn’t be an overpay. It’s exactly what Jameson Williams got this offseason.

@john_siglerr This is funny because I feel the exact opposite, I'd much rather pay a real WR2 $30 mil that you know he would get on the open market then overpay shaheed just to keep him

I’ve been watching this all day. Amazing to think we shared a planet with these animals. So tragic to know they’re gone. That the technology exists to portray them like this, and that artists are out there capable of it, is so inspiring.

Shaheed shouldn’t be untouchable, but paying him $26M per year is more palatable than paying Olave $30M.

Curious, what makes Shaheed untouchable for you guys but you’re so ready to move Olave?

Not saying they aren't legitimate injuries, but Chris Olave and Alontae Taylor popping up on the IR feels like easy justification for them being inactive this Sunday while the Saints haggle over trades with interested teams.

I'm okay with the Saints trading away some players (NOT rashid shaheed) as long as Mickey Loomis doesn't get fleeced

Massive props to the @BuffaloBills for putting grass—and the same hybrid the @Packers use—down at their new stadium. It might not be cost effective, but it's what is right for the players and the sport. Pegulas had every excuse not to (climate, etc.) And did anyway.

we let Trey Hendrickson walk after a 13.5 sack year cuz they thought he was a fluke and he produced more sacks over the next 4 years than our entire DL did in that same timespan.

The latest NFL power rankings agree that the Saints are a bottom-five team, and their 1-5 record reflects that. But they've shown encouraging signs of life in a series of close losses: https://t.co/EPHSf1mo3a

You're exaggerating, but not by much. Johnson has the worst @pfref drop rate among TEs at 10.8%, but that's just the difference in catching 26 passes or 30. Olave's drop rate is 4.7%, which ranks 65th among all players. In past years he was 92th, 107th, and 74th.

Again, useless stat considering what Johnson and Olave do every time a ball hits their hands.
