Vibe coding is an ideation playground for me and has truly been a way to brainstorm with AI and explore design directions. While many may see it just a product-building tool, I see it as an ideation and brainstorming tool.

Those invisible details are what make interactions feel good. Good interactions are those that are invisible but feel good.

In the second version, I completely remove that interaction and only show the glow around the card to show AI working in the background feedback. You almost don't see it or feel it's coming in the way.

In the video below, when I enter the website link in the UX agent app, I show a preview of the agent working in the background. However, that animation doesn't feel good.

While prototyping with AI, I go 100 steps ahead when starting out, then work my back to simplicity by removing things. This helps me see what's possible and help me direct my designs towards a better direction.

That feeling is normal. But these are signs of growth. At this point, you are not following the trend; you are defining the industry.

-Your existing workflows will start to feel frustrating, and you will see inefficiency everywhere. - You start to see traditional design approaches that don't hold true anymore. - You will feel conflicted with your identity.

But the next generation of design leaders will be more hands-on than ever building with AI, prototyping in code, and shipping products that drives outcomes.

Designing products that think, act, and automate. The next wave of UX isn’t static, it’s agentic. 5. Creativity + Taste AI can amplify your taste. This is still your edge. Here’s a hard truth I keep seeing : Some may want to stay hands-off.

2. AI-Native Design Designing with AI. Knowing how to orchestrate tools, accelerate workflows. 3. Design Engineering Code instincts. Functional Prototyping. Working with LLMs. Using tools like Cursor to move from idea → working product fast. 4. Agentic Workflows

If you’re a designer or a design leader, here are the skills that will keep you relevant over the next 5 years: 1. Product Thinking Building AI-native products end-to-end not just screens. Product grounded in users need and knowing how to drive better outcomes with AI.

I found this method pretty helpful. It's a technique I discovered from @philipcdavis Davis’ talk from WWDC24 and of @Gavmn Nelson ( from Linear ) explorations.

I have been prototyping this interaction pattern, inspired by Perplexity’s voice interaction on their mobile app. The technique you see in the video is a method where you can explore different iterations by creating a mini design tool.

AI is a collection of data that generates outputs from pattern recognition, similar to how a Fibonacci sphere is a collection of data points distributed evenly in space, communicating information through its shape.

If AI had a shape, what would that be? A question led me to prototype interactions for a Fibonacci sphere.
