This is now the fifth club that KAM have been linked to taking over only to fail to do so. At three of those entities, they have been announced as incoming owners. And they certainly seemed aware of the WU situation coming in. Certainly buyer (seller) beware for future clubs.
Considering this deal was announced after the first instance of late payment, this seems very weasel-y from KAM, but not at all surprising given their history. Worth remembering APL still never received their formal bid. A bit rich, guys.

Reached out to Football Australia for official confirmation of Heidelberg and Avondale’s eligibility for the ACL2 should they win the Australia Cup. In short, they can win a place in Asia but this is contingent on a successful extraordinary application via AFC club licensing. 1/2

Avondale has been successful in their request to host a first-ever national stage Australia Cup game at the Reggio Calabria Club; they'll host Newcastle at the venue this Sunday afternoon. Heidelberg will host Auckland at Olympic Village the evening prior.

Reggio Calabria Club has previously been unable to host games as its lights aren't up to broadcast standard, and Avondale can't upgrade them because of nearby housing. An afternoon game addresses that.
