Derek Ryan made his #NHL debut on March 1, 2016 - nine months shy of being a 30-year-old rookie. His journey to nine #NHL seasons is incredible: 4 years w @spokanechiefs, 4 years at @GBHKY, 3 yrs in Austria (!) and one in Sweden before earning a one-way AHL deal and a look. 👏🏻

Before she met my Dad, settled down and had kids, my Mom (left) was planning a trip to Australia. Life happened and she never ended up taking that trip. She is flying there tomorrow with her sister and I cry every time I talk about it. I’m just SO happy for her. 🥹 ❤️

Love this demonstration of training residuals by @CoachDresch Such a great way to explain the concept.
The weight room is an educational setting. A 2 min demo can give student-athletes visual on why we do what we do. There’s not one right way to train, but smarter ways to train throughout the year. #cedarcreststrong #reachyourpotential

I wrote a book on toughness. There is WAY too much fake toughness, machismo, alpha, performative bullshit going around right now. Being a jerk, screaming online, bullying others isn't tough. It's insecurity Real toughness is harder. We need more of it & leaders who display it:
