I hope your "their just starting out, give them time to adjust and learn" applies to the woman in a knee high business dress at the masjid to pray and the college student with an unsavory past and not just your favorite social media alpha male avatar you live vicariously through.

@joebradford It should apply to both, and you know this. Put on your big boy pants.

@The_Ibadhi Please elucidate the position of Ibadhis vis-a-vis major sins and the person who supports them, then I'll take your comments seriously.

@The_Ibadhi Your declarations here should be backed up by ideology. If you can't then you either a. You don't know your Ibadhi school well or b. the school says something you'd rather not want the public to hear. c. You're going against it which puts you in a precarious position with it. :)

@davis357378 No, they haven't stopped to think. The kneejerk reaction is so constant, it blinds them from thinking of the consequences.

@joebradford I see the point your making Shaykh I don't think anyone (rational) can disagree with giving reverts time to adjust. ุญุฏูŠุซ ุนู‡ุฏ ุจุงู„ุงุณู„ุงู… Is a term often used in islam. How far do we take the excuses? what is considered excusable? are things open for ijtihad and negotiation.

@joebradford Of course prayer is a separate category but some commenting on the correct way of placing feet for someoneโ€™s first prayer at masjid is too much.

@joebradford There's behavior before the fact and behavior after the fact how is this not common sense to someone who calls himself a sheikh

@joebradford If everyone started to look at themselves and tried to become a better person without judging others, what a better place the world would be!

@joebradford Nobody (man or woman) would be allowed in the mosque like that, and the past of anyone who reverts isn't for us to judge anymore.

@joebradford I canโ€™t get my head around it. Does the dawah cult ever stop to think about what message theyโ€™re sending out? It winds me up so much

@joebradford Not the knee high business dress. Just the woman who wears no hijab. Simple! Or the woman who shakes hands with men.

@joebradford Only difference is that this โ€œsocial media avatarโ€ reverted to Islam only a week ago whereas that women knows whatโ€™s going on.
