For the last 12 years I've worked for an amazing school district that invests in teachers. But this year they've adopted a computerized universal screener, iReady that is deeply troubling. Today I blogged about about "Why iReady is Dangerous" #iready.

To be clear, you still didn’t say it. If you believe in the legislation, you and other republicans should be bold enough to explicitly say “Millionaires who already send their kids to private school should receive approximately $4500 to pay for said private school.”.
@rithatsme2 @jmjerrell1 I don’t play class warfare . If those people are paying taxes (and paying most of them) then yes they should benefit.

Grades aren’t compensation for work. This is a false equivalence. The grading system is broken and the 50% rule is a misguided attempt to correct an arbitrary percentage we consider “passing”.
“Students, at minimum, should get a 50% even if they hand nothing in!”. Great. I’ll skip work every day and would still like half my paycheck please.
