It’s sad to see such a great brand go down in such a way. They’ve helped connect two of the best cities in the world and bridge the channel. I sincerely hope they wake up and get better

The line from Paris to London will soon be open to competition. It’s a business heavy, highly profitable line. Customers like me will jump on the opportunity to try a competitor. And if the experience is better (which won’t be hard) then they’ll win significant market share

I paid more than £500 for a return ticket and this was the poorest experience. I was travelling alone with my daughter and paid extra to ensure smooth travel. The contrary happened. And worse: no compensation offered, and staff clearly overwhelmed.

There are 100s of people with me, all with kids, and even more waiting in the hall for the next train. That means they were able to get through before us when we were supposed to be prioritised, only highlighting the incompetence of @Eurostar

Throughout we are told that we are well in time, and are constantly put in the slowest queue. Then when they finally realise that we might not make it, they rush us through only to get us to miss our train

I get there hours before the train 13:15 for a 14:42 train, they get me and my 4 year old daughter to wait and it takes 45min until we can even reach the checkin gate
