On his way out today, Penguins 2025 fifth-round pick Quinn Beauchesne made a point to personally thank all team staffers and media members for the experience this week. I thought that was a really nice gesture. Seems like a great kid with a lot of character and personality.

Tomorrow on the Substack I am posting a 13 minute video breakdown of Quinn Beauchesne that should get every Pens fan beyond excited. He is an extremely dynamic defenseman. I think he went about 70 spots later than he should’ve. You will not find video like this anywhere else.
Quinn Beauschene knows what the hell he’s doing. Kid is a vacuum for pucks today. Finds and creates open space very well.

I almost prefer this outcome. Kamloops will be better, but they aren’t a playoff team. He’s got to do a lot of the heavy lifting there and I’m not sure that’s the best thing for his future habits.
