These laws are designed to legalise the "5 eyes" extra-national spy agency. This enables surveillance organisations to bypass local laws that prevent spying on citizens by requesting and trading data with partner agencies in other countries.

Please keep an eye out for FUD bots on twitter. It doesn't help they are backed by FUD media outlets like "The Australian" and other Murdoch press. Hopefully some facts help

“Research from QUT shows that 'some kind of a disinformation campaign' is pushing the Twitter hashtag #ArsonEmergency. There is no arson emergency.” This is highly concerning - anti-climate campaign. Who would pay for this? We need to figure it out.
