I wrote about the decision by the Finnish Government to stop funding UNRWA. It’s in conflict with Finland's foreign policy, shows indifference to the functioning of humanitarian aid and increases the suffering of civilians. If you know any Finnish, give it a read!

How does civilian protest shape civil war dynamics? @sebvanbaalen derives a new typology of wartime civilian protest and cautions that civilian protests may not only be a force for de-escalation and peace in this #APSRFirstView. #APSR @UU_Peace https://t.co/QL8Nv97WyX

Eilinen YK-päivä herätti onnittelujen ohella kommentointia YKn tarpeellisuudesta. On koettu turhauttavaksi, että Venäjä toistuvasti blokkaa turvallisuusneuvoston Ukraina-kysymyksessä. Turhautuminen on ymmärrettävää, joskin YK:n arvostelussa kannattaa tarkistaa kritiikin kohde.1/9
