Something I had to learn the hard way as a coach is that finding the “optimal comp” is significantly more dependent on your groups comforts and less dependent on stats, your own preferences, the perfect paper theory, etc. Meta should be a single factor in your decision making,
Genuine question for the coaches, IGLs, theorists. Do you think there is an "optimal comp" on each map and you should try to force this comp? Or do you think there are several viable comps that all have interplay in a rock paper scissors type of game cycle?
