the fact here is that it clearly means that the council is subject to the voice of direct democracy and therefore needs to make sure any pip that pays them will be accepted by the community this is where the hurdle really is at this point as we need to justify the council

while this does not mean the council can't be paid in usdc especially right now when the council usdc holdings are mostly there to make sure that there is enough runway vs anything actually being paid by the council in usdc (atmta pays the foundation and then gets reimbursed)

So the conversation with paying the council is about how the council is effectively a corporation while thats mostly true especially right now the long term aspect is closer to a senate type role, note these are also usually paid positions

legislative debt is not about money its about having something passed that is supposed to just exist and run on its own without does not have the capacity to fully do so meaning that it can fail if no bills that create the conditions to sustain it are passed, don't be the usa

The point with how not everything necessary can be profitable in a game is because it's ultimately not a closed system it needs people to simply want to spend money there on occasion, the point is making something where you don't want to necessarily extract to extract

Once we have utility and economic loops heavy extraction loops become possible, once there is enough burn in the economy forcing reinvestment of earned resources to keep making money that now allows extraction, also note not every activity will have direct net profit it can't

The reason why I will occasionally push against the extraction aspect is because in order for the game to allow us to make money there needs to be enough in game circulation and accumulation as this is what ultimately creates value for the coin ie utility

So today's topic is going to be on planned economy and how that translates to game development especially web 3 game development where utility needs to be built out to keep the assets in value during development

It has come to my attention that Winston is selling off a lot of his star atlas assets to cover from a bad bet, now note a major reason that the market went south is stuff I'm directly fighting against so do we want someone who gambles and sabatoges those who would help them

There will be plenty of opertinities for me to take active roles, meaning that I'm not going to be upset if i loose this election, in fact it's the opposite I like seeing others step up to do the work of building our virtual nation state

This combined with the fact that elections are every 9 months while the project has no set end date means we need to be generating a pool of skilled administrative amd political powerhouses to keep things going

So the reason I run for star atlas dao council is to make sure that we have qualified candidates in place to keep things running, note I have the necessary knowledge and skills to do the job so it's important that others have a chance to get the knowledge and skills

The third star atlas council election is live, cast your vote, make your voice heard, select the new council, I'm not going say anything other then all 6 candidates are perfectly qualified as at this point there is not much else worth saying

The game system is a little more ambitious as the intent is to bring in larp, ttrpg and crpg with an underlying web 3 platform that can allow you to use the advancements you make around the kitchen table with your friends in an infinite network of other games

The basis for the first one is to create a social media system that separates the profile from the platform, this will mean that when a platform like Facebook makes itself unusable people can just walk away without loosing their friends list in the process

What I intend to accomplish at breakpoint since the star atlas team won't have an official appearance is to discuss a few projects I intend to work on, the most important one actually is helped by the zink profile system, the other is a nft based comprehensive game platform

This creates a level that frees those who chose to participate from being controllable by the economic forces that otherwise effectively enslave us, there will be resistance from those in power to this and we must be willing to fight back

Add I the layer of a dao where we can eventually collectively own the ip that our nfts are making us money in at that point we almost own the full production cycle, then add control of the chain making it effectively full ownership of just about every layer

What this means is that crypto by definition is subversive to those who control society, nft games extend this by giving access to truly owning the means of production in a post industrial society ie a way to earn money

So I think that we lost touch with some things, international finance capital has created rules to prevent pleebs from getting rich off the stock market, crypto opens these tools back up to anyone who has just enough money to get in
