It shouldn’t matter how tall he is - Chad Gable should be in the World Title picture. The guy is legit in the ring, and has also proven that he can deliver with respect to the entertainment aspects of the business that WWE covets.

The only thing that seems to work in theaters anymore are the big-budget blockbusters, because the distributors take 50% and so if a film's budget is say, $50M, you need to generate $100M at the box office just to break even. A big screen and surround sound at home works for me.
People often forget it's not Netflix killing the theater business, it's the theater business not evolving that's killing it. You can't get mad at Netflix for people choosing to "Netflix and chill" over spending tons of money for going to the theater.

On May 20, 2016, I sent @SeanRossSapp a cold email that said: "We’re in the planning stages of launching a wrestling and MMA site," and asked about his availability. Ten years later, @Fightful has exceeded my expectations, thanks in large part to him. Thanks and Happy New Year!

I happened to mention to @TheMattCardona that I need one more figure in my Japanese Popy collection. I meant the 1981 set but of course I should have known his response would be, do I have his? 🙂

If people, including wrestlers, express concern over the high risk moves some AEW wrestlers do, and your response is “watch WWE then” or “you’re lame”, you’ve missed the point. Not wanting someone to get injured or live with chronic daily pain by the time they’re 50 is not lame.

Just saying… if only 4% of voters choose a particular promotion in a Fightful award poll, I won’t care because everybody is entitled to their opinion.

To me it's a no brainer for WWE to sign Danhausen specifically for AAA and sometimes NXT. He could be a merch machine in those companies.
Danhausen's AEW contract is set to expire around February 2026, AEW sources tell @FightfulSelect We have more details on the deal and their relationship up now for subscribers

If you’re over 50 and a retired MMA fighter whose primary discipline is *not* boxing, Jake Paul is now accepting resumes.

This is embarrassing. Might as well give Jake Paul a 50 foot ring and a bicycle next time.

The way that people get so angry over award polls makes me smile. It's subjective; it's somebody's opinion. And that's all it is. P.S. - in 1998, People Magazine did an online "Most Beautiful Person" poll, and this guy won after Howard Stern made his nomination go viral.

Playing "Feliz Navidad" during a hockey brawl is so damn good, they need to give that arena DJ a raise. https://t.co/ds3Q245ivN

Mike Tyson had the opportunity to throw big head shots and didn't. If he had even at his age and in his condition, he would have dropped Jake Paul no problem. I suspect it'll be the same with Joshua. These fights are sideshow exhibitions.

I'm seeing this comment online a lot and I agree - Montez Ford being revealed as the masked man and newest member of The Vision could have been epic. https://t.co/TKDL1P3IbR

I understand the time honored tradition of going out on your back, and I bet John Cena insisted on it. But he should have won the last one, especially after losing his previous match to Dom. Crowd was not happy, and booed Hunter big time afterwards. #SNME

Timothée Chalamet isn’t really on my radar, I know he’s a successful young actor but I haven’t seen much of his work. I gotta say though, I am impressed by his wrestling knowledge. Kid even knows Boogeyman’s real name!

I agree with this. Mid-2027 will be crucial to AEW because it’s a contract year. Either WBD picks up their option for a 4th year, or AEW becomes a free agent with respect to U.S. TV rights. And if that happens, the question becomes, how much money will they get elsewhere.
"The most important thing to AEW is to peak in the summer of 2027, not what they're doing now. You really want to be building stars that are gonna peak in 2027. 2027 is way more important than 2026 when it comes to AEW." - Dave Meltzer https://t.co/dvWPW0BwON

My favorite John Cena film to date. I went in with low expectations, but he knocked it out of the park. And showed a lot of range in that movie as well. Really liked it.

5x WCW Cruiserweight Champion 3x WCW World Tag Team Champion Instrumental in popularizing Lucha Libre in America, in large part due to his WCW run. So yeah... Rey sucked. Nick Khan needs to just not talk about wrestling in interviews.
Nick Khan says that Rey Mysterio was considered a "nothing" in WCW, and the WWE machine got behind him. “Think about the work that guy has put into his career. And by the way — when he was in WCW, he was considered like a nothing. A nothing. He came to WWE, and he had a great

Could be a best case scenario for AEW of all the reported suitors. Netflix reportedly doesn’t want the cable networks. So AEW would remain on WBD-only channels. If they lose the HBO Max option, they can always look for a separate streaming deal just as WWE has done.
@jimmyvan74 what does is mean for AEW?
