Day 7 on our @LegerBattleTour Air War Europe tour started at Berlin Cemetery followed by a visit to the Marienbourn checkpoint then onto Hannover Air Museum and a tour around Hannover discussing the bombing during WW2

Zagan! Our @LegerBattleTour was spent in the company of the Great Escapers. We followed the story of Big X and the sad fate of the escapers

Dresden is one of the most beautiful places to visit that has a very violent past that has thankfully been repaired and is commemorated daily by man’s ability to forgive the past.

On our @LegerBattleTour we’ve been to Colditz Castle today. It’s been many things in its 600 year history. Obviously it’s most famous for its role in WW2 but it’s been a concentration camp, lunatic asylum and it’s current role is a music school

A fantastic first day on our @LegerBattleTour Air War Europe tour. Our first stop was Reichswald Cemetery where members of 617 are buried. We then moved onto the Mohne and Edersee damns. It was good to see the water level back up to where it should be after the recent low levels

It’s been a fantastic few days here on the battlefields of Belgium. The history beer food and scenery are amazing. I’ve met some passionate craftsmen who make some superb beers and others who’s museums are a life’s work of collecting and keeping the stories alive. Thank you

Today has been an emotional one. Covering the ground around Bastogne hearing the stories of Easy company and walking the ground is important but also difficult emotionally. Any battlefield brings out different feelings and this one is no different. Thanks Ben.

The story of one RAF crew that left Newmarket never to return. In the Spitfire museum at Florennes is a display case that tells the story of this crew and it’s loss. We then met the lads in the towns local cemetery and visited the area where they came down.

It’s been an amazing trip to the Ardennes and a day that you don’t learn something is a day wasted. Yesterday was no exception. The beer, history and food in this area is exhausting there’s so much to see and learn.
