This is how yesterday female elephant from Dharmapuri, TN was rescued. Which fell in open well. After hours of operation, which included supplying food also, the elephant is rescued by forest team. It was a 50 feet deep well. And credits to the elephant also for her will.

Presenting the most bizarre but yummy Tirunelveli halwa dosai at Nagercoil Arya Bhavan, Coimbatore. Crispy dosai filled with soft ghee dripping hot halwa and some boondi thrown in for the crunch. It was truly fantastic.

At 1 AM teams got info of an elephant calf falling in a ditch. A long rescue operation in dead of night. By 5 AM he was rescued successfully. And then guided back to family which was in nearby forest. Team ✌️✌️

After a beautiful abhishegam at a local amman kovil (blessed to see ambaal draped in the saree we gave despite many other podavais), thulped some sooper nei podi rava masal dosai at Karpagambal mess. Standard seems to have improved and the pudina chutney was just wonderful.
One fellow's birthday means cake has to happen. Persian love cake, made with loads of almonds and pistachios plus rose water, lemon zest and cardamom. All my favourite flavours make for this very tender, moist cake. Absolutely delicious.
