So my Trust has reintroduced masking for front line staff, patients and visitors. One visitor per bed rule back. All staff are still testing, large numbers off as a result per Covid rules. Shocking odds 99.98% survival rate still stands. Dystopia isn’t returning, it never left.

At last my Trust has declared we can all unmask 🙄 I was the lone unmasked face in my lab throughout and Occy Health told me my Trust didn’t do exemptions. So much for the caring profession caring for staff. When masking is reintroduced I will still be the lone uncovered face. 🖕

Update:Was summoned to managers office and told her I can’t wear masks. Risk assessment followed and referral to occupational health for them to assess if I’m genuine or not?! If yes, no mask. If no, I will have to go off again but on half pay due to prior mask related absence.
