Copper wine bowl made at Lahore c.1610-20. It’s large! Probably holds a litre of wine. How was it used? Dip your cup in? Use a ladle? Stick in a curly straw? Does wine taste better after sitting in a copper vessel? So many questions #GreatMughals@V_and_A

Shah Jahan’s wine cups, mid 17th C, sculpted from jade. Luxurious, ergonomic, I’d love to cradle one of these in my hands! Someone please make a replica from inferior materials. I’ll buy ten. See the originals for yourself @V_and_A #GreatMughals
